PROJECT BRIEF
For this design we were to create a book cover combining images/illustrations alongside typography. The book selected was that of “Beowulf a heroic and gory story of a man battling various monsters. This perhaps is one of the more experimental pieces within the portfolio as it breaks certain rules of type such as warping text. However the purpose of it was used to help convey this emotion gore that the book cover was supposed to embody. Inspirations was heavily affected by a more horror aesthetic focusing on the gruesome and vulgar themes of the story.
